The Cantina Hits 12!
Can you believe it? We’ve been here for 12 years!! It seems like only yesterday we opened the doors to this place. This old warehouse has seen a lot of changes since we came along. We transformed it from a worn down, old abandoned shell of a building to what you see here before you. Over the year, we added a few extras to our original design. First, there was the covered front porch so folks could sit outside and enjoy their meal. Later came the deck for even more outside drinking and dining. Soon to follow those improvements was the banquet room on the side so we could host private parties up to 40 people in a quiet, secluded atmosphere. Last spring, we added the outside bar that is open on Friday nights, weather permitting, to shorten the walk to get a drink.
Just recently, we gave the old place a fresh coat of paint and rearranged the pictures on the walls just to confuse you. The swinging lady has returned from her road trip around the brothels of the South West to swing for us again. The rumor is she got married, but it didn’t work out. Well, we know how that goes!!
This place isn’t the only thing that has changed in ten years. The whole dark world is a little different. Been through a couple of presidents since we opened. Gotta believe you’ll never see either of em’ on a dollar bill. Let’s not even talk about mayors or taxes cause we all know the hurtin’ they put on us. We saw the start of a new millennium and the end of the old one. The future’s so bright we gotta wear shades!!
There are a few things that haven’t changed, like the good food and drink here at Crossroads, and let’s not forget the great customers. Without all of you, we wouldn’t be here. We’ve made a lot of friends here, and we’re really happy to see you all come through the door. Lots of you have been coming here since we opened, bringing new people with you and sharing your lives with us. As always, we couldn’t do any of this without the support of great family and friends
